A stomp box (or stompbox) is a simple percussion instrument consisting of a small wooden box, in this case a Cigar Box ( Chewing Tobacco box) placed under the foot, which is tapped on rhythmically to produce a sound similar to that of a bass drum. A stomp box allows a performer such as a singer or guitar player to create a simple rhythmic self-accompaniment. It has a peizo disk pickup with a 1/4 jack input to plug into your amp or PA. It has rubber pads on the bottom to prevent sliding. The perfect item to accompany your CBG for that blusey back porch sound.
