My name is Michael Bianconi,  I have been playing 6 string guitars all my life. I was shown a 3 string cigar box guitar, played it and I was hooked. Nothing has quite that bluesy, country sound as a cigar box guitar, specially when using a bottle neck slide. I have taken my skills of wood working and my passion for guitars and music and created Southern Fire Guitars, hand crafted cigar box guitars, made right here in Brooksville Florida USA.  Built to have that bluesy sound of the past, using some old and new techniques. I not only build them, I play each one to make sure it plays nice and easy and sounds great, with and without an amp.
